GREGORY JAMES CLARK, was born January 1, 1951 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the son of Joseph and Jean Ann (Nelson) Clark. He married Carol Schwake July 13, 1971 in Waterloo, Iowa and they were later divorced. Greg worked for many years at Rath Packing Company and MidAmerican Energy. He was a union steward with the IBEW, was active in the Cedar Valley United Way and the Cedar Valley Labor Council. He died Saturday, September 7, 2002 at his home at the age of 51 years.
Survivors include his two daughters, Dana and Amy Clark, both of Cedar Falls; his step-mother, Marion Clark of Cedar Falls; three brothers, John (Teresa) Clark of Independence, Scott (Becky) Clark of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Tom (Bev) Clark of Waterloo; and one sister, Vicky (Joe) Thoman of Manchester. Greg was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2002 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.
