Greg E. Stibal

Greg E. Stibal, 73, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, September 22, 2016, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born March 14, 1943, the son of Jack and Alice (White) Stibal. Greg Married Delores Steenblock June 14, 1969 in New Hampton. He graduated from Osage High School in 1961, attended Mason City Junior College and graduated from Upper Iowa University in 1965. Greg was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from October of 1963 to August of 1965. Before his retirement Greg was in Retail and Bank Marketing. He was very active in the Cedar Valley United Way, serving as chairman of the board, as president and headed the campaign in the year of 1985.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Stibal, of Cedar Falls; one son, Ryan ( Krista) Stibal, of Janesville; one daughter, Lora Mills, of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Livia and Ben Stibal and Colton Ahart; one sister, Carolee Costanzo, of Knoxville, Tennessee and one brother, Gary (Diane) Stibal, of La Canada, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2016, at Prairie Lakes Church in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before srervices at the church on Friday. Burial will be in the New Hampton Cemetery, New Hampton.
