Gordon Hansen

Gordon B. Hansen, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his home. He was born October 9, 1924 in Cedar Falls, the son of Carl Peter and Clara (Nielsen) Hansen. Gordon married Connie Hansen October 26, 1956 in Cedar Falls. Before his retirement, he farmed and was a part time real estate agent. He is survived by his wife, Connie Hansen, of Cedar Falls; two sons, Steve Hansen, and Chris (Kim Cross) Hansen, both of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Janine (Bill) Marston, of Birmingham, Alabama; four grandchildren, Christian and Carina Hansen, and Oliver and Eva Marston, and one sister, Marion Larsen, of Boise, Idaho. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Virginia Roberts. Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 47:00 pm Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to Nazareth Lutheran Church.
