GLORIA ALICE HUDSON was born November 25, 1921 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of Achilles and Viola (Harris) Calabrese. She married Edward D. Hudson on May 12, 1945 at Milwaukee. Wisconsin. He preceded her in death in 1973. Gloria died Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at the Western Home in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the age of 79 years.
Gloria is survived by one daughter. Susan Hudson of Cedar Falls, Iowa and one son Edward David Hudson of Sacramento, California; three grandchildren, Edward David Hudson, William Curtis Hudson and Erin Frederick; one sister, Doris Lemberger of Greenfield, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Lucille Bushberger and Shirley Sadowski.
Family-directed memorial services were 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2001 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the American Lung Association, 5601 Douglas Avenue, Des Moines, IA 50310. Floral tributes may be sent to the church.
