GRUNDY CENTER — Glenn F. Alberts, 88, of Grundy Center, formerly of Dike, died Tuesday, June 16, at Grundy County Memorial Hospital, Grundy Center. He was born May 16, 1921, in rural Grundy Center, son of Jake and Edith Johnson Alberts. He married Beryl Long. She died July 26, 1993. Mr. Alberts farmed from 1955 to 1971. He also had owned a truck line, delivering livestock; worked at Corn Country Beef in Dike, and for Stewart & King, Inc.
Survived by: a daughter, Sheri (Roger) Johnson of Cook, Neb.; and a son, Keith of Mason City.
Preceded in death by: two infant sisters; and a son, Kent.
Family Directed Memorial services: 11 a.m. Monday at Dike Methodist Church, Dike. Memorials: may be directed to the family.
