GERTRUDE A. WOODS, 50, of Davenport, died Monday, February 12, 2001, at her home. Cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy. Gertrude was born March 22, 1950 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of L. D. "Bud" and Synnove (Petersen) Woods. She was a Media Specialist at Wood Elementary School in Davenport.
Gertrude is survived by her parents of Cedar Falls. She was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa McCulley.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2001 at First United Methodist Church in Cedar Falls. A memorial fund will be established. Inurnment will be at a later date.
