Geraldine "Geri" D. Butler of Cedar Falls and formerly of Des Moines died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. Geri was born in Algona, Iowa the daughter of Clarence Eli & Magdelena Dorothea (Block) Burbank. She married Maurice Butler January 27, 1937 in Missouri. He preceded her in death August 4, 1990. Geri was a sales clerk with Von Maur for many years.
Survivors include two daughters, Dona (Donald) Wildeboer and Jennie (Douglas) Erpelding, all of Waterloo, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one brother, Bernard Burbank of Fort Dodge, Iowa. Geri was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and an infant brother.

Private family services will be held at a later date with inurnment in Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Iowa.
