Garry Golinveaux

Garry O. Golinveaux, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center. Garry was born March 26, 1929, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Ray & Marie (Case) Golinveaux. He attended Sacred Heart Elementary School in Waterloo and graduated from Cedar Falls High School with the class of 1947. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1952-1956 and was employed with Young Plumbing and Heating. He married Paula Schmadeke in 1952 and they later divorced.

Survivors include his daughter, Pam Golinveaux of Waseca, Minnesota; his companion of over 20 years, Carol Eicke; two sisters, Gloria Golinveaux of Normal, Illinois and Jean Galleger of Fairbank, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.

Garry was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
