GAIL H. IDSO
was born august 28,1918 the daughter of Will A. and Clara F. (Rank) Southall. She married Amos (Andy) Idso September 27, 1942 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He preceded her death January 3, 1996. Gail worked for Porter's Camera, retiring in 1993. She died February 8, 2001 at her home in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the age of 82 years.
Gail is survived by three daughters; Janice Dallas, Belton, Mo., Sally Carmichael, Tripoli, Iowa and Andrea Clark, Cedar Falls, Iowa; three grandchildren, Kimberly Carmichael, Brian Carmichael and Kristi Clayton; three great grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter, and Bryce Carmichael; and her mother Clara F. Southall, Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her father, husband, and two brothers, Howard and Donald Southall.
Services were 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2001 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Private family burial will be in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be given to the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
