FREDA WILSON was born December 20, 1914 in Parkersburg, Iowa the daughter of Louis Grover and Hannah (Pjebkes) Trueg. She married Wayne H. Wilson July 26, 1940 in Waverly, Iowa. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2002. Freda was co-owner of the Regent Café in Cedar Falls and was also a nurses aid having retired from Country View Care Center. She died Thursday, September 5, 2002 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls at the age of 87 years.
Survivors include one son, James L. Wilson of San Diego, CA; one stepdaughter, Sandra Kay Wilson of Cedar Falls; fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, one great great grandson; and one brother, Henry Trueg of Cedar Falls.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Connie Leah Camarata; one brother, Eddie Trueg; and three sisters, Annie Andressen, Louise Hundley, and Lucille Trueg.
Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2002 at Cedar Heights Baptist Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial fund will be established.
