Frank A. Boyce, 93, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. He was born December 29, 1919 in Waterloo, the son of Alto and Elsie (Beener) Boyce. Frank married Gertrude L. Luloff January 15, 1942 at Jesup, Iowa, and she preceded him in death December 26, 2008. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. He worked for Rath Packing Company, retiring in 1981. Frank is survived by four sons, Ronald (Dayle) Boyce of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dave (Nylene) Boyce of Cedar Falls, Pastor Bruce (Brenda) Boyce of Reinbeck, Iowa and Byron (Carol) Boyce of Dysart, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife; one son, Frank Boyce; five brothers, Alto, Arden, Charlie, Rev. Fred, and Melvin Boyce, and one sister, Darlene Schoenfield. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Ascension Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 15, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before services at the church on Tuesday.
