FRANCIS "JACK" L. KALEY,
84, of Cedar Falls and formerly of Marshalltown died Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center. Jack was born December 2, 1921 in East Jordan, Michigan the son of Otto & Florence (St. Charles) Kaley. He married Virginia Senkow April 12, 1946 in Muskegon, Michigan. She preceded him in death November 17, 1983. He married Anne Yore October 19, 1986. Jack served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a long time employee of Midwest Spring in Marshalltown.
Survivors include one son, Daniel (Susan) Kaley of Bolingbrook, Illinois; two daughters, Lynne (James) Wikle of Hudson, Iowa and Karla (Paul) Wasielewski of Mustang, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one sister, Izzy Walton of Big Rapids, Michigan. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother, Don Kaley and one sister, Margaret Pohjola.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at the Western Home Chapel with burial at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Lakeside Cemetery, Muskegon, Michigan. Visitation will be for one hour prior to service time at the Western Home Chapel. Memorials may be directed to the family.
