Frances K. Stackhouse

Frances K. Stackhouse, 73, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the Western Home Communities Thalman Square in Cedar Falls. She was born August 11, 1939 in Hampton, Iowa, the daughter of Lester and Bertha (Friesleben) Muhlenbruch. She married Jack H. Stackhouse September 1, 1957 in Latimer, Iowa. Frances was a District Manager for Avon Cosmetics. She received the Circle of Excellence, which entitled her to a trip to Hawaii and Japan. She is survived by her husband, Jack H. Stackhouse, of Cedar Falls; one son, Scott (Paula) Stackhouse, of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Nicholas Harris, Gabriel and Elle Stackhouse, and one sister, Maxine Johansen, of Hampton, Iowa. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Douglas Stackhouse. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
