EVELYN C. GREELEY was born January 10, 1921, near Finchford, Iowa, the daughter of Alvin and Luella (Cawelti) Miller. She married Duane H. Greeley on April 23, 1949 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Evelyn was an administrative assistant for many years at Arbie Mether Oldsmobile in Cedar Falls. She died Monday, August 13, 2001, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, at 80 years of age.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Duane, of Janesville, Iowa; her two daughters, Rosemary Carlson (Rich) of Kansas City, Missouri and Carolyn Hoelzen (Hugh) of Burlington, Iowa, and two grandchildren, Rachael Carlson and Jared Hoelzen. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Marilyn and a son, Jeffrey.
Funeral services were 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 16, 2001, at Heritage United Methodist Church, Waverly, Iowa, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls. A memorial fund will be established.
