Evelyn Bernard

Survivors include three sons, Vincent E. (Nyleta) Bernard of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Dennis (Sandra) Bernard of Waynesboro, Georgia, and David (Emily) Bernard of Midville, Georgia; four daughters, Donna Bernard Gay of Dallas, Texas, Geraldine (Jerry) Martinson of Cedar Falls, Vicky Bernard (John Anderson) of Midville, Georgia, and Cynthia Bernard Perry of Louisville, Georgia; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband; three grandchildren, Todd Bernard, Vincent B. Bernard and Christie J. Bernard; three brothers, Joseph, Frank and Donald; six sisters, Mary, Bessie, Rose, Emily, Iola and Agnes; and three sons-in-law, Laurel E. Gay, Bart Perry and Wayne Coker.

Memorial services will be 10:30 am Saturday, July 26, 2008, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Evelyn Bernard Memorial Fund.  A memorial service was held in Midville, Georgia on July 17.
