Eunice Lucille Pabst, 89 died Wednesday, January 3m 2007 at the Community Hospital, Waverly, Iowa. She was born February 27, 1917 at Blue Earth, Minnesota the daughter of Ray and Lydia M. (Ankeny) Cummings. She married Chris D. Pabst June, 29, 1935 at Lincoln Center Church near Dike, Iowa. He preceded her in death June 1, 1993. Before her retirement she worked in housekeeping at the Cedar Falls Police Department.

Eunice is survived by one son, Dale Pabst of Waverly, Iowa and one daughter, Betty (John) Manning of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; five grand children, Lori Manning, Chet, Mark, Todd Chrystal Pabst; four great grandchildren; two sisters in law, Isabel Cummings of Cedar Falls and Etta Pabst of Grundy Center, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and two brothers, Harold and Kenneth Cummings.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 6, 2007, at First United Methodist Church, with interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4—7:00 pm Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church.
