Esther M Nolting

Survivors include her son, Ron (Jan) Nolting of Fairfax, Iowa; two daughters, Louanne (Dick) Madsen of Denver, Iowa and Linda Terhune of St. Paul, Minnesota; one son in law, Walt Moore of Hiawatha, Iowa; ten grandchildren, Rob (Amy) Nolting, Mike (Tara) Nolting, Jeanette (David) Rosen, Barb Kula, Carol Moore, Diane (Bill) Antilla, Carolyn (David) Hughes, David Madsen, Jason Terhune and Katie Terhune, thirteen great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Zach, Alex and Sarah Nolting, Maribella and Judah Rosen, Sarah and Jared Kula, Alissa and Olivia Antilla, and Ashlyn and Tyler Hughes.

Esther was preceded in death by her parents and husband, one daughter, Marilyn Moore; one son in law, Scott Terhune; three brothers, Albert, Arnold and Otto Tadge; and three sisters, Mathilda Beisner, Emma Benning and Ella Tadge.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 18, 2008 at St. John Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Public visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to service time at the church on Saturday. Memorials may be directed to the church.

Our beloved mother, mother-in-law and grandma was a wonderful baker, cook, gardener, and seamstress.  She was a hard worker whose greatest joy was providing for and spending time with her family.  With her gentle and quiet spirit, she loved and served God and her family.  We will miss her dearly.
