ERNEST
BOLLANS, 78, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died of natural causes on Monday, January 10, 2005, in Cedar Falls. He was born March 28, 1926 in England, the son of Harry and Mabel (Overy) Bollans. Ernest married Edna D. Alcock in 1953 at Waverly, Iowa. He worked for many years at Weyerhaeuser Company in Waterloo, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Edna, of Cedar Falls; a son, John Bollans of Cedar Falls, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Brian Bollans.
Private committal services will be at Fairview Cemetery in Cedar Falls. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the family.
