Erma Christiansen

Erma D. Christiansen, 80, recently of Cedar Falls and formerly of Dike, died Friday June 8, 2018 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.  Erma was born March 7, 1938, in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Daniel & Alice (Eiklenborg) Andreessen.  She married Charles Christiansen June 26, 1956 at Stout Reformed Church in Stout.  He preceded her in death August 20, 2014.  Erma was a homemaker and was very active in her church.

Survivors include her son, Douglas Christiansen of Dike; three daughters, Denise (Tim) Nagel of Estes Park, Colorado, Cheryl (Joseph) Kremer of Arlington, Iowa and Carla (Dan) Johnson of Nevada, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents and husband, two brothers, four sisters and three siblings in infancy.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Orchard Hill Church in Cedar Falls with burial in Stout Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the church.  Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
