Emma Jo Uban

Emma Jo Uban, 94, of Minnesota and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Boutswells Landing in Oak Park Heights, Minnesota. She was born December 5, 1921 in Ackley, Iowa, the daughter of Felix & Josephine (Maasdam) Schnucker. She married Charles John Uban II on August 2, 1945 in Waterloo. He preceded her in death September 2, 2003.

Survivors include two sons, C. John (Judy) Uban of Dillon, Colorado and Stephen (Nicolle) Uban of Pillager, Minnesota; two daughters, Jolynn Grace of St. Croix, Virgin Islands and Mary Ann (Brian) Taminnen of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; a daughter-in-law, Karen Uban of West Frankfort, Illinois, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one brother, Rev. Robert Schnucker of Parkersburg, Iowa.

Emma was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Mark Uban; and one brother, Paul Schnucker.
