EMMA C. JENSEN, 86, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, February 22, 2003 at her daughter's home near Toddville, Iowa. She was born October 28, 1916 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Nick and Elsie (Petersen) Dockwell. She married Erhardt I. Jensen on November 21, 1936 in Galena, Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1977. Emma was a clerk-typist for 30 years at the University of Northern Iowa Placement Office. She was a long-time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.
Emma is survived by her two daughters, Judy Eriksen of Ankeny, Iowa and Katy (Ron) Strand of Toddville; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty (Orlyn) Bergmann of Clinton, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; a sister, Anna Boehmke and four step-sisters, Vendla Webrand, Helen Uschkrat, Laura Bode and Ethel Nelson.
Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 27, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with private burial in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the church or Hospice of Mercy in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
