Elmer M Christensen
August 19, 1914 — September 12, 2006
Survivors include three sons, Richard Christensen, Lynn (Joan) Christensen and Roger (Carla) Christensen, all of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Sharon (Randy) Magee, of Cedar Falls; ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Elmer was preceded in death by his wife and parents; a daughter, Joann Christensen, in infancy; a brother, Earl Christensen; and five sisters, Thora Christensen, Agnes Minikus, Elsie Bruhn, Dagne Schmidt and his twin sister, Alma Johnson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday, September 14, 2006, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, with interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 5—8:00 pm Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, and one hour before service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
