ELLIENE
CLAPP, was born August 9, 1902 in The Netherlands. She married Heiko Clapp on June 3, 1921 in The Netherlands. She and Heiko came to the United States in 1929 and farmed in the Cedar Falls area until 1952, then moved to their home in Cedar Falls at 903 W. Second St. Elliene died Thursday, November 18, 1999, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home, at the age of 97.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Elliene Goughnow of Cordova, Tennessee; three great-grandchildren, Andrea, Trent and Michael Goughnow; and one great-great-grandchild, Jonah Goughnow.
Elliene was preceded in death by her parents and husband; two daughters, Joan Clapp and Ann Barkhoff.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 1999, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.
