Ellen L Sorensen

ELLEN LOUISE SORENSEN was born November 13, 1921 in Hudson, Ohio, the daughter of Alvin Charles and Minnie (Barnetson) Boose. She married Herluf H. Sorensen on May 21, 1953 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Ellen was a secretary with Viking Pump Company for many years. She died Saturday, March 24, 2001, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, at 79 years of age.

Ellen is survived by her husband, Herluf, of Cedar Falls and her sister, Janet Rayburn of Mason City, Iowa.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert W. Boose and Arthur J. Boose.

Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at Nazareth Lutheran Church with burial in Greenwood Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
