Ella Terhark, 101, formerly of rural Cedar Falls died Monday, July 24, 2006 at Grundy Care Center in Grundy Center, Iowa. Ella was born February 24, 1905 in Waterloo, Iowa the daughter of Henry & Mary (Mixdorf) Fasse. She married Harm "Jack" Terhark March 25, 1928 in Waterloo. He preceded her in death October 7, 1982.Survivors include her daughter, Yvonne (Richard) Bertram of Holland, Iowa; four grandchildren, David (Linda) Bertram, Denise (Eric) Porter, Darla (Gary) Carter, and Darcy (Brad) Hernandez, nine great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and one niece Mary Fasse-Shaw. Ella was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two brothers, Arthur & Herbert Fasse and three sisters, Emma, Minnie & Wilhelmina Fasse.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2006 at Fredsville Lutheran, rural Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for one hour prior to service time at the church on Friday. Memorials may be directed to Fredsville Lutheran Church, Christian Crusaders or Grundy Care Center.
