Elizabeth Stickfort

Elizabeth Stickfort, 100, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center in Cedar Falls.  Elizabeth was born September 25, 1909, at Lincoln Township, Iowa, the daughter of Conrad & Millie (Zapf) Weber.  She married Richard Stickfort November 4, 1931 near Stout, Iowa.  He preceded her in death August 29, 2006.  Elizabeth was a homemaker and a gardener.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty (Rodney) Kendrick, of Parkersburg, Iowa; two grandchildren, Shane  Kendrick, of Dike, Iowa and Elizabeth (Bill) Rogers, of Parkersburg; six great grandchildren, Brandon (Sherree) Kendrick of New Hampton, Iowa, Sean and Emmett Kendrick, both of Dike, and Isabel, William R. and Colton R. Rogers, all of Parkersburg; a great great grandchild, Aiden Kendrick, of New Hampton; two brothers, Conrad (Jeanette) Weber and Roy (Ann) Weber, both of Parkersburg; and a sister, Millie Saul, of Parkersburg.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents & husband, a son, Stanley Stickfort, and two brothers, Edward and John Weber.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010, at Stout Gospel Hall with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.  Visitation will be 2—4:00 pm Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the gospel hall.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
