Elizabeth C Diestler

Elizabeth Craft Diestler, 62, of Waterloo, died of cancer at her home on Thursday, April 10. She was born on November 6, 1945, in San Francisco, California, daughter of Robert M. and E. Esther Craft. She married Bruce E. Diestler on August 8, 1964. Elizabeth was active in the LAFNOW neighborhood association, the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, and the New Hampshire Poodle Party.

Survived by: her husband, Bruce; her son Donald (Tanya) Diestler of Waterloo, her granddaughter Megan Diestler, and her brother Robert (Rhonda) Craft of Waterloo. Proceeded in death by her parents.

Family-directed memorial services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, April 16, at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Black Hawk County. There will be no visitation, her body was cremated.  Memorials may be directed to the family or to Cedar Valley Hospice.
