EDWIN L. "ED"LAMB, 52, of Cedar Falls and formerly of Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, February 12, 2006, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. He was born August 19, 1953 in Emmetsburg, Iowa, the son of Shirel and Dorothy (Freese) Lamb. Ed married Nancy Keating in Cedar Rapids. They later divorced. He married Gail Hemb on September 18, 2004 in Cedar Falls. Ed was a 1971 graduate of Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School and a 1976 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa. He worked in the construction industry for many years and owned Lamb Construction Management in Cedar Falls for nine years. Ed was a member of the Safari Club International, the Wild Turkey Federation, several wildlife conservation organizations and The Goodfellows. Survivors include his wife, Gail, of Cedar Falls; five sons, Nathan Lamb of Kansas City, Missouri, Anthony Lamb of Iowa City, Iowa, Josh and Jacob Stack, both of Cedar Falls, and Kris Kuhagen of Cedar Falls; his father and stepmother, Shirel and Joanne Lamb; his brother, Lynn (Darlene) Lamb of Lenexa, Kansas; his sister, Barb (Larry) Hamilton of Cedar Falls, and many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. Ed was preceded in death by his mother. A Celebration of Life Service was 10:30 am Friday, February 17, 2006, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with interment at 3:00 pm in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Malcom, Iowa.  A memorial fund will be established.
