EDNA MANTOR was born August 30, 1899 in Peterson, Iowa the daughter of Edwin and Laura (Batterson) Mantor. She was a teacher at the Price Lab School retiring in 1969. Edna died Thursday, November 16, 2000 at the Western Home Martin Center at the age of 101 years.
Edna is survived by cousins and special friends, Carl & Connie Riggs.
Services were 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2000 at the Western Home Chapel with inurnment in Burt Cemetery in Burt, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the University of Northern Iowa or the United Church of Christ in Cedar Falls.
