Dwayne A Clapp

Dwayne A. Clapp, 62, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, July 12, 2010, at Sartori Memorial Hospital.  Dwayne was born March 18, 1948 at Grundy Center, Iowa, the son of Antko & Lola (Mast) Clapp.  He married Sharla Rhoads December 13, 1969 at the United Church of Christ in Reinbeck.  Dwayne was a sales and production coordinator with Kent Feeds in Waterloo, retiring March 31, 2009, after 26 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Sharla, of Cedar Falls; two sons, Kevin (Amy) Clapp, of Holland, Iowa and Christopher (Natalie) Clapp, of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren, Jordan, Jared, Brady, Emily, and Jensen Clapp; his mother, Lola Clapp, of Cedar Falls, and his brother, Douglas (Julie) Clapp, of Peoria, Arizona.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his father, Antko Clapp, and a brother, Joe Dennis Clapp.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, and for one hour prior to service time Friday, at the funeral home.  A memorial fund will be established at a later date.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
