Doug’s passion's revolved around the outdoors. He was an avid Whitetail Bowhunter and absolutely loved Waterfowl hunting. He enjoyed watching Waterfowl and was perfectly content just observing them on hunts. Fishing was also a great passion and he participated in tournaments over the years as well as fishing for fun with his brothers and son. So many wonderful memories were made with his son, friends, and granddaughter, Delana, in the outdoors. He was so proud to see Delana carry on the family outdoor tradition. Another passion Doug shared with Brenda, was gardening. He was happy working in his yard on landscaping projects, growing vegetables, and helping her plant hostas and flowers in their yard. Above all else, Doug cherished seeing his grandchildren on the weekends and would excitedly tell everyone of their accomplishments.
