Dorothy F Tucker

Dorothy Faye Tucker, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, August 16, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.  She was born June 19, 1919 in Waterloo, the daughter of Harry G. and Sarah (Neith) Rollins.  Dorothy married James R. Tucker on April 24, 1954 in Waterloo.  He preceded her in death on January 6, 1999.  Dorothy graduated from Waterloo East High School and received her BA degree in elementary education from UNI in 1972. She was a member of PEO Ch. FV, TTT,  and St. John's Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.

Survivors include her brother, Harry (Virginia) G. Rollins, of East Alton, Illinois and two sisters, Mary Ziemer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Carolyn Griffith of Arlington, Virginia, and several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, with burial at Garden of Memories in Waterloo.  Visitation will be one hour before service at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the church.
