Dorothy A Lageschulte

Dorothy A. Lageschulte, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at  Cedar Falls Health Care Center, Cedar Falls.   She was born May 8, 1918 near Fairbanks,Iowa the daughter of Earl and Anna Rommel. Dorothy graduated form Readlyn High School in 1937. She married Gilbert "Gil" Lageschulte May 24,1940 at Readlyn. Dorothy attended Iowa State Teachers College (UNI) and taught in country school for several years. She worked as a book keeper for Rasmusson Chevrolet, retring in 1973.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Richard) Scobee of New Hartford; two grandsons, Jason (Jen) Scobee of Webster City and Ryan (Sara) Scobee of Nashua, and four great grandchildren, Tyler, Chase, Josiah, and Elijah.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one still born daughter, Anna Marie, and one brother, Earl Rommel.

Services will be 10:30 am Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial prior to services at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 4—7:00 pm Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.  Memorials may be directed to Cedar Falls Health Care Givers.
