DOROTHY B. CLAY, was born June 16, 1933 in Jesup, Iowa the daughter of Sam and Mary (Kalianov) Balabon. She married David Clay on December 8, 1956 in Waterloo, Iowa. Dorothy died Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home at the age of 68 years.
Survivors include her husband, David Clay of Cedar Falls; three sons, Bret Clay and his wife, Donna, of Lacona, Iowa, Greg Clay and his fiancée, Amy Steffen, of Cape Coral, Florida, Mark Clay of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Joseph and Ashley Clay; and two brothers, Dan Balabon of Cape Coral, Florida and Nick Balabon of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home & Cremation Service with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
