Survivors include two sons, Albert (Cindy) Hoeft of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Jim (Joan) Hoeft of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Dennis, Scott, and Annalisa Hoeft; one great grandchild, Carter Hoeft; one brother, Kenneth "Bob" Idler of Bassett, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, one son, Dennis Hoeft; eight brothers, Albert, Roy, Melvin, Vern, Irvin, and Jesse Idler and two in infancy; and two sisters, Freda Woods and Mae Idler.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 30, 2006 at Nazareth Lutheran Church with burial at Sunnyside Memory Gardens in Charles City, Iowa. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to service time Monday at the church. A Rebekah service will be at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home by the Happy Thought Rebekah Lodge # 256 of Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to Christian Crusaders or Peoples Community Health Clinic in Waterloo.
