Donna L Lind

Donna Lois (Linden) Lind, 74, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at NewAldaya Lifescapes in Cedar Falls.  She was born August 15, 1936 in Odebolt, Iowa, the daughter of Willard and Lois (Dannenberg) Linden.  Donna married Harry Lind on December 21, 1956 in Odebolt.  She was a 1954 graduate of Odebolt High School and attended Iowa State Teachers College (UNI).  Donna was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church and served on several church committees.

Survivors include her husband, Harry Lind, of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Susan (Scott) French, of Collierville, Tennessee; two sons, Mike (Pam) Lind of St. Charles, Illinois and David (Laurie) Lind of Overland Park, Kansas; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a sister, Barbara (George) McEntee, of Overland Park, Kansas.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial at Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 4:30—7:00 pm Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church.  Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
