Donna Klingfuss

Donna M. Klingfuss, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Donna was born March 31, 1936 in Charles City, the daughter of Kenneth & Opal (Pearson) Emerson.  She married Wilbur Klingfuss January 6, 1959 in Cedar Falls.  He preceded her in death August 5, 1993.  Donna graduated from Cedar Falls High School.  S he was a dietitian with the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home and was an in home caretaker for Home Instead Senior Care.  Donna was a member of the AMVETS and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Survivors include one son, Scott (Dawn) Klingfuss of Denver; two daughters, Teresa (Scott) Eicher of Denver and Melissa (Shaun) Vermilyea of Savannah, Georgia; one daughter in law, Crystal Sanden of Joice; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Chris) Carrison and Clint (Charlotte) Carrison both of Osage; her sister, Judy Heckroth, also of Osage and her special friend, Ivan Hummel.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son, Robert Klingfuss and one sister, Linda Burnett.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with burial in Hillside Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the church.  Memorials may be directed to UnityPoint Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
