Donna Jean Gray

Donna Jean Gray, 70, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Sartori Hospital. She was born October 18, 1941 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Claude and Leone (Goebel) McVey Donna graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1959, She worked at Holmes Junior High School as a secretary for twenty seven years, retiring in 2008. Donna is survived by one son, Mark (Sally) Gray of Burlington; three daughters, Shelly (Deb Petsel) McVey of Iowa City, Melissa Gray and Marin (Chris) Pence, both of Cedar Falls; five grandchildren, Julie Gray, David Gray, Katrina Pence, Taylor Bowden, and Leonie Pence; one brother, David (Judith) McVey of Waterloo and one sister, Linda (Michael Allegretto) McVey of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Daniel Scott Gray. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.
