Donna Mae Fuller

Donna Mae Fuller, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. She was born March 2, 1933 in Fertile, Iowa, the daughter of Jacob and Hattie (Holstead) Hansen. Donna married Russel Fuller on January 30, 1951 in Fairmont, Minnesota. She was an Executive Housekeeper at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls for many years, retiring in 1982. Donna was a member of the Housekeepers Association. She is survived by her husband, Russel Fuller, of Cedar Falls; two sons, Robert "Bob" (Connie) Fuller of Holland, Iowa and Ron (Susan) Fuller of Waterloo; a daughter, Nancy (Charlie Thurston) Vorland, of Cedar Falls; two step daughters, Judy Altizer of Burlington, Iowa and Carol Lipper of Sperry, Iowa; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren, and a brother, Kenneth (Geraldine) Hansen, of Evansdale, Iowa. Donna was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Heather Brayton; a great granddaughter, Gracie Buss; a step son, Jerry Mason, and a brother, Casper Hansen. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Washington Chapel United Methodist Church, with burial at Washington Chapel Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the church.
