DONNA M. DEBOER, 77, died of natural causes on Saturday, March 10, 2007, at her home in Cedar Falls. She was born September 18, 1929 near Finchford, Iowa, the daughter of Everett and Susan (Wildeboer) Schneiderman. Donna married Virgil DeBoer on October 1, 1950 in Nashua, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2006. She was a graduate of Cedar Falls High School and farmed for many years with her husband.
Survivors include her son, Michael DeBoer, of Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Marcy (Raldo) Schneider and Patty (Chris) Bolhuis, both of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren, Billy, Jason, Kris, Rhonda, Kelly, Jonathan and Benjamin, ten great grandchildren, and a sister, Joann Lockard, of Waterloo, Iowa.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a sister, Jean Smith, and four brothers, Benny, Alfred, Harold and Don Schneiderman.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, March 15, 2007, at St. John Lutheran Church, with interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4—7:00 pm Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the church.
