DONALD E. WOLF was born December 30, 1925, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Lidia (Garland) Wolf. He married Dorothy E. McRoberts July 31, 1948 at South Sioux City, Iowa. He worked for Illinois Central Rail Road as a carman for forty two years. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Donald died Monday, October 13, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, Iowa, at the age of 77 years.
Donald is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two sons, Robert Lynn (Sandra) Wolf of Cedar Falls, Iowa and John Raymond (Wendy) Wolf of Waterloo, Iowa; two daughters, Sandra Marie Burch of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Sharon Kay Russell of Evansdale, Iowa; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grand children; one brother, Richard (Christa) Wolf of Waterloo and one sister, Juanita Flancha of Cedar Falls, Iowa. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Wilbur Wolf and one great grandchild, Samantha Tigges.
Funeral services were Thursday, October 16, 2003, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorials may be directed to the family.
