Don Edward Dove

Don Edward Dove, 64, of Cedar Falls, died at home on Thursday, June 9, 2016. He was born April 8, 1952 in Cedar Falls, the son of Wallace and Ora (Clayton) Dove. Don married Lori Paulus on September 11, 1982 in Cedar Falls. He attended New Hartford High School and worked for several years at Martin Brothers Distributing Company, Black Hawk County Conservation Board, and retired for health reasons in 2001 from Omega Cabinet Company, after 11 years of service.

Don is survived by his wife, Lori Dove, of Cedar Falls; his son, Jason Dove, of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Snyder of Asbury, Iowa and Maggie (Brian) Hume of Omaha, Nebraska; three grandchildren, Caleb, Will and Dakota, and two sisters, Connie Salisbury of North Carolina and Judy (Kevin) Kerr of Waterloo, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Donald Carter.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2016, at College Hill Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 2—5 pm Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
