Dolores P. Pruisner

Dolores Pauline Pruisner, 79, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, December 23, 2011, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Buffalo, New York. She was born September 6, 1932 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Edward H. and Alma (Weidler) Spear. Dolores worked for over fifty years at PDCM Insurance in Waterloo. Survivors include her daughter, April Ann Pruisner (Joe) Kane, of Hamburg, New York; two grandchildren, Michon and Kelly Kane, both of Hamburg; a brother, Donald (Becky) Spear, of Guttenburg, Iowa, and a sister, Arlene Janssen, of Texas. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edward G. Spear. Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 31, 2011, at First Lutheran Church, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation will be 68:00 pm Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, and one hour before the service at the church. A memorial fund will be established.
