Diane L Barney

Diane Lynn Eastman Barney, 55, of Aplington and formerly of Cedar Falls and Waterloo, died Friday, August 14, 2009, at Maple Manor Care Center in Aplington. Diane was born June 25, 1954 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Kenneth & Barbara (Wolfe) Eastman. Diane graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1972. She married John Panther and they later divorced. She married Roger Barney, Sr. and they later divorced. Diane was a custodian at the University of Northern Iowa.

Survivors include her daughter, Krystal Barney, of Cedar Falls; four grandchildren, Draven, Jayden, Heaven and Aryssa; and two brothers, Larry (Pam) Eastman, of Shell Rock, Iowa and Robert (Cindy) Eastman, of Cedar Falls. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2009, at Living Water Church of the Nazarene, Cedar Falls, with burial in Hillside Cemetery.
