Dennis Levi Huffman

Dennis Levi Huffman, 69, New Hartford, died Saturday, February 24, 2024 at UnityPoint Allen Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa.  He was born October 29, 1954 in Waterloo to the late Oscar and Elaine (Kaplinger) Huffman.  Dennis graduated from West High School and went on to work as a machinist for John Deere for 30 years.  He married Pamela Ferris on June 15, 1974 in Waterloo the couple were blessed with two children, Brett and Jodi.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pam; children, Brett (Heather) Huffman and Jodi (Jim) Jones; grandchildren, Haley Huffman, Blake Huffman, Dominick Jones and Kaylin Jones; sisters, Georgia (Jim) Kulish and Wanda Hernandez; and extended family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his grandson, Micah Jones, and brother-in-law, Larry Hernandez.

There will be a private service at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
