Denise Henry

Denise A. Henry, 50, of Cedar Falls, died of pancreatic cancer Friday, March 26, 2010 at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo.  Denise was born December 3, 1959 at Cedar Falls, Iowa, the daughter of Dean P. & Mary A. (Werkmeister) Henry.  She served in the U. S. Navy from 1988 to 1991.  Denise was employed as a flight attendant with American Eagle and was a customer service representative in the insurance industry.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Henry, of Cedar Falls; her brother, Randy (Georgia) Henry, of Cedar Falls; her sister, Joni (Kim) Bakken, of Mesa, Arizona, nieces, nephews, a great niece, and her dog, Daisy.

Denise was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at Prairie Lakes Church in Cedar Falls, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo.  Military honors will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49.  Visitation will be from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to service time at the church on Monday.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com
