DELORES J. GOODYEAR,
was born June 29, 1920, at Coulter, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Carrie (Johansen) Hansen. She married Earl Goodyear, September 6, 1942, at Coulter, Iowa, He preceded her in death. DeLores was a secretary for 22 years at Irving Elementary School in Waverly, Iowa, retiring in 1982. She died, Saturday, December 25, 2004 at the Elizabeth Martin Center, in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the age of 84 years.
She is survived by two daughter, Claudia (John) Martin and Denise (Doug) Coen , both of Cedar Falls, Iowa; six grandchildren; six grandchildren, Brooks (Wendy) Martin, Stacey (Shaun) Courbat, Jeffrey (Heather) Martin, Beth (Tony) Senio and Eddie Coen; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one infant daughter, Julie and one sister, Arloine Johnson.
Funeral service were Tuesday, December 28, 2004, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Feed the children, P. O. Box 36, Oklahoma City, OK. 23101-0036.
