Deborah M Holder

Deborah Marie Holder, 55, of Cedar Falls, died from complications of diabetes on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at her home in Cedar Falls.  She was born October 22, 1955 in West Union, Iowa, the daughter of Milfred Otto and Lorraine "Peg" (Martin) Schultz.  Deborah married Blaine M. Holder on October 2, 1993 in Virginia City, Nevada.  She was a 1975 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and graduated from Hawkeye Institute of Technology with an Associate Degree.  Deborah worked with production systems at KWLO Radio.

Survivors include her husband, Blaine Holder, of Cedar Falls; four sons, Matthew and Christopher Reisinger, both of Reno, Nevada, Kyle Holder of Fairbanks, Alaska and Aaron Holder of Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter, Virginia Holder, of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren, Brandon and Kasey Reisinger; her mother, Lorraine "Peg" Schultz Borglum, of Cedar Falls; a brother, Gil (Dianne) Schultz, of Cedar Falls, and a sister, Gail (Bill) Corwin, of Cedar Falls.

Deborah was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 4—7:00 pm Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour before service at the church.  Memorials may be directed to Christian Crusaders, St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Eldorado, Iowa, or the American Diabetes Foundation.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
