David Allen Wireman

David Allen Wireman, 54, of Cedar Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 6, 2020.  He was born in Waterloo on August 31, 1965, son of David Arthur and Florence (Gallagher) Wireman.  David attended Janesville Junior-Senior High School and became a self-employed handyman.  He married Corrina Kaye Finch on June 25, 1983 in Washington Park in Waterloo.  David LOVED the outdoors!  He was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as a photographer and videographer of nature.  David had an extensive gun collection and loved to ride his motorcycle.  He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his father in 2017; and his brother, Dennis, in 1992.  He is survived by his mother, Florence Wireman, of Hawkeye, Iowa; his wife of 37 years, Corrina; his sons: David (Samantha) Wireman of Elk Run Heights, Casey Wireman of Waterloo, and Nicholas Wireman of Cedar Falls; 4 grandchildren: Seryna, Trevor, Lily and Everly; a sister, Lenita (Jason) Bruns of Manchester; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

David's Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020, from 5-7:00 pm at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home of Cedar Falls.  Friends and family are invited to share their favorite memories and stories of him beginning at 6:30 pm.  Attendees are asked to bring and wear a mask.  Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
