David L. Nargang

David L. Nargang, 76, of Cedar Falls and formerly of Waterloo died Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Bickford Cottage in Cedar Falls. He was born December 30, 1943 in Lakehurst, New Jersey, the son of Glendon & Ala Elizabeth (Denniston) Nargang. David graduated from Columbus High School in Waterloo and from Chicago Technical College in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a Civil Engineer and enjoyed golfing and reading.

Survivors include his sister-in-law, Marti Neill-Nargang Harper of Peoria, Arizona; two nephews, Mike (Kina) Nargang and Eric Nargang; and one niece, Kenzie (John) Nargang-Gassaway.

David was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wayne Nargang.

Graveside services will take place at a later date in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery by Van Meter Iowa. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
